Case studies are required for any opportunity on the Marketplace, whether outcome, specialist or training. Buyers can search and browse case studies when looking for suitable sellers. We also use them to assess a sellers ability to deliver a service.
Before you start
Make sure that you:
- read request an assessment
- submit your case studies in the correct category for the opportunity you want to apply for
Check you meet the assessment criteria
Before you start writing, closely read the assessment criteria for the category you want to add your case study to. Your case study must demonstrate how your skills and experience meet the minimum number of required criteria for the area of expertise you want to offer.
Answer the mandatory elements
All case studies must show you can:
- communicate with a wide range of disciplines both internally and externally
- present findings, insights and recommendations to justify decisions
- establish relationships to support delivery of services
- work in a multidisciplinary team in an agile delivery environment
Is there enough detail?
Your case study doesn't have to describe everything. Describe the part you played, while communicating the points that will meet the assessment criteria.
We've put word limits to help you keep it concise. You can supply additional proof with the links. For example you can add presentations, video or link to an app, website or product that you made.
Remember to be specific with data. For instance, if you say you've doubled daily web traffic we don't know if that's from 10 to 20 visits or 100,000 to 200,000 visits.
Note: Please don’t include any information that could be considered confidential in nature, as your case study will be visible to all Marketplace buyers.
Keep writing up until an assessment
Once your seller profile is live in the Digital Marketplace you can edit and update your case studies at any time.
An evaluation for a new category is triggered when you see an opportunity you're interested in and request an assessment. So before you submit your response, you can always go back into your profile and check your case study, or add another one.
Work as a team
If you're collaborating on your case studies with colleagues, you can use our template, which includes an example case study to get you started.
Keep your profile updated
If you don't meet our assessment criteria you can request feedback. In most cases, you'll be able to update your seller profile and case studies and try again another time.
