'Open to all'
Some opportunities on the Marketplace are open to all approved sellers. These are called ‘open to all’. As long as you are approved to offer a service in the category you’re interested in, you may respond to these types of opportunities.
For example:
'Open to selected' and 'Open to one'
When an opportunity is ‘open to selected’ or ‘open to one’, the buyer has invited a small number of sellers to apply. When a buyer publishes one of these opportunities we notify invited sellers by email.
For example:
Buyers are encouraged to make their opportunities ‘open to all’. In some circumstances, publishing ‘open to selected’ or ‘open to one’ may be preferable to the buyer. We publish these opportunities on the Digital Marketplace to be open about what services Government buyers need.
How do I get invited for an 'Open to selected' opportunity?
Some buyers will choose sellers based on their own processes and circumstances. Buyers may select sellers through the seller catalogue on the Digital Marketplace. We encourage you to keep your profile up to date, with an accurate summary of your business and its capabilities.
Can I respond to an opportunity that’s 'Open to selected'?
Only invited sellers are eligible to respond to ‘Open to selected’ opportunities.
How can I contact a buyer directly?
The Digital Marketplace will not share buyer details. While the Digital Marketplace doesn’t place any restrictions on ordinary business development activities, any persistent attempts to persuade a buyer to invite you for an opportunity may go against our Terms of Use.
